ACERS CHAMPS ACES REGIONAL TITLES

Eight members of the Acers Tennis Academy represented St. Lucia in Barbados at the C.O. Williams Tennis Tournament. 

Nathanael Charles, Ishaan Sharma, Denney Estava, Amia Jn Marie, Immanuel Charles, Sanjay Lake and Aayush Sharma all made their debut on the regional scene at the recently concluded tennis tournament in Barbados. It was very inspiring seeing them attend the tournament, what was more satisfying is the experience, level of sportsmanship and the results. All athletes evolved and played great tennis for the week.

 Denney Estava was unstoppable during the tournament making the main draw final to play his countryman Alhil Cyril. It was remarkable watching this champ from match to match snatching victory hardly losing any games. The only girl on the team Amia Jn Marie was very determined and her goals were similar to that of the boys. She was able secure her spot in the final after defeating her all opponents in the round Robin. She lost in the final placing second overall. She also made the doubles final after partnering with Abba Campbell-Smith . They were undefeated winning that event.
